Since our announcement of this product at Cebit 2011 earlier this year, we decided to upgrade this model with the latest technologies so as to make it our flag ship device for 2011-2012. We changed the CPU from 1185 to 1186. It encapsulates future possibilities to boot the machine with android 2.2 (we will do so when the SDK provided to us by Realtek will be more stable). It features strong 750 Mhz CPU, USB 3 and HDMI 1.4 that will make it the first media player in the market capable of playing 3D video files. It will support HTML 5 and PHP with SQLite so our community projects will go even higher. More HDD based content space with unto 3TB HDD (not included) and more online content from the internet.
This machine will come from factor with our latest Version 3 that brings to your TV a very modern user experience on a sleek yet capable GUI. We added so many features and functions to the device firmware so as to make it as closest to the most modern HTPC you may experienced on a PC platform. You will be able to supplement the usage of this device with external accessories, DVB-T and even CI+ compliant modules. We will release these accessories later on this year.
The overall result will make the Xtreamer Prodigy the best Digital Media Player money can buy as of its release date, tagged with a very aggressive price tag. The power of the Xtreamer Community, and our wishes to make it the best machine based on SoC in the market will turn this machine to another success in our models range.
